From flying on autopilot to mindful attention
Mindfulness is a skill, and like any skill, it can be trained. Essentially, you are training your brain to live more in the 'now' and to accept whatever arises with a kind perspective. Moreover, this creates the space and calm needed to regain control over the choices you make both regarding your own self-care and in your parenting.
Instead of reacting on autopilot, you practice making a conscious choice. This transforms the action-reaction dynamic into a moment of genuine attention and presence. This immediately translates into greater calm, gentleness, and joy within the family dynamic.
Every stage of parenthood brings its own unique challenges. Whether you have just become a parent for the first time, have older children, or are looking for extra support regarding your child's ADHD and/or autism: my varied range of services ensures there is always a training that fits the current stage of your family life.

Mindfulness training can be beneficial at various stages of (family) life. To determine which program best suits your current stage, we always go through a few steps together.
Every journey begins with a free, no-obligation online introductory meeting. Together, we’ll see if the training aligns with your needs and, just as importantly, if there is a personal click between us
Individual Once we decide to get started, we’ll schedule the dates right away.
Group: For group training sessions, you will receive the invoice as soon as the minimum number of participants is reached. If a group session is canceled, we will work with you to determine if an individual program is a good fit for you.
Good to know: The invoice can be paid in three parts, subject to agreement. Once the (first) payment has been made, your spot is officially reserved.
During our weekly sessions, we really roll up our sleeves. We combine theory with practical exercises that you can apply immediately. Between sessions, you’ll receive small assignments to practice at home. We discuss these at the start of each following meeting, allowing us to learn together from real-life experiences.
Mindfulness is a skill that needs time to settle. For that reason, we schedule a follow-up session about eight weeks after the final meeting. During this time, we’ll see how you’re doing, discuss any challenges you're still facing, and explore how to sustain these skills within your busy family life.
IMH stands for Infant Mental Health. By joining forces, we combine the calm of mindfulness with in-depth knowledge of your baby's early development and the unique bond between parent and child. Rozemarijn van Pagée
My journey to mindfulness wasn’t a straight path. I was always “on,” until a COVID-19 infection in 2020 forced me to stop. Although my body had been sending signals for months, I didn’t know how to listen to them at the time. Eventually, through meditation and Yoga Nidra, I discovered the power of slowing down.
I combine this passion with my background as a social worker, autism coach, and family therapist in child and adolescent psychiatry. My approach is down-to-earth and warm, without any fluff. Additionally, through my volunteer work in Malawi, I see daily what acceptance and resilience truly mean—lessons I carry with me into my trainings and sessions.
Whether you are a parent feeling stuck or an adult losing your grip due to stress: you are welcome exactly as you are. In short, we aren’t going to try harder; instead, we learn together how to slow down, feel, and listen.

In addition to the weekly meeting, you’re expected to practice at home. Some exercises are specifically designed to be incorporated into your daily routine. The meditations you do at home are an investment in yourself; aim for 10 to 20 minutes a day. It’s the “pause button” that ultimately gives you more time and peace of mind.
No, that’s certainly not necessary. If you recognize signs of ADHD, autism, or concentration issues and you notice that this is causing tension in your parenting or within your family dynamic, you’re more than welcome to join us. During the introductory meeting, we’ll assess whether this training program meets your needs.
We’d love to! It helps immensely when both parents speak the same “language” and learn together how to break out of their automatic routines. For an additional parent from the same family, a reduced rate of €250 applies.
Absolutely. The big advantage of online learning is that you’re in your own familiar surroundings, and it saves you travel time.
That can happen in a busy household! To ensure the privacy of all participants and maintain a safe atmosphere, we deliberately do not record the sessions. However, you will receive the theory and exercises via email, so you can easily pick up where you left off the following week. For individual sessions, we’ll simply reschedule the session at a different time in consultation with you.
No, the training sessions are not covered by health insurance. However, in some cases, it may be possible to receive (partial) reimbursement through your employer (for example, from a budget for personal development or wellness). You can also check with your local municipality about the options available if your child has an official diagnosis. If the cost is currently preventing you from signing up, please let me know. I’d be happy to work with you to explore what is possible.
Let's have a virtual cup of tea!
